Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsRalph,
While you could certainly do it in a week, you'd miss everything worthwhile
and arrive real tired. I would suggest 3 weeks to do it slow and comfy and
take time to see the sights.
It'll take ya several days just to clear the hangover you'll get in Fort
Edward, and that's assuming you don't get arrested.

Subject: GL: rideau Canal
We are trying to make some loose plans to meet family along the Rideau
Canal
this year.
Perhaps some of you can help us and give a stab at when this might occur.
If we leave Atlantic City NJ in mid-late May and follow the Hudson up
through Lake Champlaign, when would you suppose it would reasonable that
we
would be on the Rideau?
I know there are a lot of variables. I am looking for some sort of
benchmark
by which we can create our own guess so our family members can block out
some vacation time to be with us.
Thanks
R.
