Crew                          Ben, Brad, Kevin & Jim Farrell
Goal:                          Palau in 10 days

Remarks:

We loved Darwin, it is a nice town of about
125,000.  First was the Duck Pond of all
fishermen, which we like worldwide, they are our
kind of people. Then we met George LaSette of
Sadgroves Quay and he offered to pull us out and
clean our bottom then when he saw the shape it
was in he said he would paint anti-fouling if we
paid for the material.  How do you beat that kind
of kindness.  He and his wife Penny
introduced us to a lot of interesting people and
we wished we had another month there.

The wx is calling for some bumps the first day
but Kim's instructions to us are get out, get
going and don't be late to Palau for Kevin to
meet her.

It's always nice to get to sea again.  I know we
are traditionally landlubbers but once we've been
in harbor a few days we always like heading out
and feel those lovely swells.  They are the
signal that we have left our stresses behind and
just have our daily watches and endless seas.  It
ain't for everybody, but I know we will miss it.

Ben, Brad, & Kevin
