YOUR ACTION NEEDED NOW! The future of Gault Middle School will be decided this Wednesday, November 8, 2023! The Tacoma City Council's Infrastructure, Planning, and Sustainability Committee will be considering the Landmarks Preservation Commission Recommendation for 1115 East Division Street (Gault Middle school) to be placed on the City's historic register. You can read the meeting notes in the attachment below. Catherine Ushka is in support of demolition and the other council members seem to be deferring to her.
