6/18 Stratford Point -
I just received a text (with photos) from Steve Spector who photographed a FRANKLIN’s Gull today at Stratford Point. I’d guess it’s the 1st-summer plumaged bird found 6/6 by J. Hough at nearby Short Beach/Housatonic River mouth. He also reported 70 Laughing Gulls.
The entrance gate at Strat Pt is on an auto timer. I’m not sure when exactly it closes: 4:00pm? 5:00pm?

The gate at Stratford Point usually closes at 5PM. But you can get out by driving up close to it, if you’re inside when it closes.

The property closes at 5p and ask that all vehicles are out by then.
