NCL members - We were recently contacted by Rep. Beyer's office about a draft bill they are developing for adult ed. They were approached by an adult ESOL educator from their district about providing school supplies tax breaks for adult educators similar to those in K12. The bill is pretty straightforward, and we will certainly lend our name in support. I asked if I could share this with NCL, to which they agreed. I've shared this with Jeff Carter, and this will be discussed on the NCL policy call this afternoon at 4 pm EST.
