Here's what's going this week:
Friday October 1st The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra will be performing at McGilvra's in Seattle WA. I'll be joined by Tony Foster on piano. 7:30pm to 10pm, all ages welcome, no cover charge.

Saturday October 2nd we'll be performing at Ott and Hunter Winery on Whidbey Island. I'll be joined by Greg Feingold on bass and Stefan Schatz on drums. 7pm to 9pm, all ages welcome, $20.

Sunday October 3rd we'll have drummer, educator, and record label owner John Bishop as our guest for both a livestream interview and performance. We'll be joined by Greg Feingold on bass and will be performing brand new original music. Both Livestreams are free to watch and can be viewed on both this facebook page and our youtube channel.

About our guest:
As a drummer, educator, record label owner, graphic designer, and festival presenter, John Bishop has been one of the primary voices in Northwest Jazz for over 35 years. He has performed in concerts and clubs with Lee Konitz, Slide Hampton, Benny Golson, George Cables, Kenny Werner, Bobby Hutcherson, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Sonny Fortune, Herb Ellis, Buddy DeFranco, Bobby McFerrin, Joe Locke, Jerry Bergonzi, Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, Larry Coryell, and countless others. He’s appeared on more than 100 albums, was inducted into the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame in 2008, and was named a “Jazz Hero” by the Jazz Journalists Association in 2019.
