Happy Sunday, Fellow Municipal Practitioners! I wanted to update you on the upcoming events for both OAMA and IMLA. We have lots of lots of events for municipal attorneys over the next few months. I would encourage you to mark the following dates on your calendar and plan your budgets accordingly! The OAMA Spring Conference will be held on Friday, April 28th, in Oklahoma City. We will have a half day event on Thursday, April 27th. There will be two tracks: one for new municipal attorneys and the other consisting of round tables for the more experienced attorneys. The second day will be the standard format. The IMLA Mid-Year Seminar is scheduled for April 21-24, in Washington, D.C. This event will be exclusively in-person and no virtual component will be offered. I would encourage you to review the programming and also talk to those that have attended this event in the past. Last Thursday, the OAMA Board voted to approve 10 - $1,000 scholarships. If you are interested, please let me know.
