Hello Gators, What a month we have in store for September! While earlier daylight will bring us back inside on Tuesday and Thursday evenings by the end of the month, we're far from calling it a year as we still have many events on the calendar! For example, on our "Who's In?" calendar, there are Gators planning to participate in 26 unique events over the course of the month! And we start and end with a bang with 3 Gators participating in Half IRONMAN distance events over Labor Day weekend and then a total of 25 Gators participating in either a Half or Full IRONMAN distance event over the final two weekends! So without further adieu, here's the September preview... TUESDAY and THURSDAY NIGHTS... Starting next week on Tuesday, September 4, the ride start time for Tuesday and Thursday evenings is moved up to 6pm due to earlier darkness. We'll do this for the first three weeks of September, then we'll move indoors starting on Tuesday, September 25. Our coaching team is meeting on September 12 and shortly after we'll provide details about the last week of September as well as our plans for October-December workouts. INDOOR SWIM WORKOUTS... The Y's indoor pools are scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, September 4 and we'll resume our regularly scheduled coached workouts on that date... Tuesday and Thursday mornings (10am-11am) and Monday and Wednesday evenings (8:30pm-9:30pm). SATURDAY 9/1: Due to low registration, we're canceling the Saturday morning Y lap pool outdoor swim.
