AUDITION NOTICE
Come join us and be part of one of the most beloved holiday stories of all
time, “The Polar Express!” THE POLAR EXPRESS TM Train Ride is a live
immersive experience that transports patrons into the classic story. Mt.
Rainier Railroad in conjunction with Rail Events, Inc. and Warner Brothers
Pictures are currently casting for this live theatrical production. ALL
roles will receive a Warner Brothers Credit and some a paid stipend. We are
looking for actors & actresses for the following roles:
CONDUCTORS (Male Age 25-60 Charming, outgoing, personality)
CHEFS/WAITERS/ELVES (Male or Female, Fun, outgoing, energetic) HOBOS (Male
Age 20-50 Mysterious, rough around the edges but like-able) KNOW IT ALL
KIDS (Male Age 10- 13 or younger looking high school student) HERO BOYS /
HERO GIRLS (Male or Female Age 9-13 or younger looking high school student)
SMOKEY and STEAMER (Goofy, love-able engineers that keep the train running)
SANTA CLAUS (Male 45+ warm, sincere, full of real joy, prior Santa
experience a plus)
Other roles may be cast including BILLY, (Age 11-13) friend to our HERO BOY
Improvisation background a plus but not required. Singers are encouraged
to audition but not required. Please refer to Polar Express movie.
Please prepare a one minute monologue in the form of your favorite
Christmas memory or story or script provided for a cold read.

The Polar Express Experience runs weekends Fridays, Saturday & Sundays
beginning November 16th and runs through December 31st. Additional
performances also required on certain weeks. Two to three shows per
evening.
This is a live theatrical experience on a moving train and last
approximately 60-90 minutes. You must be comfortable performing in this
environment.
All ages both male and female to audition. Diversity encouraged. Mt.
Rainier Railroad and Logging Museum does not and shall not discriminate on
