This is a great opportunity to do a trainer session at home and listen to a podcast or two or go on You Tube and watch the Challenge DuBai 70.3 triathlon from last Friday (that included some controversy in the men's race)! FYI, here's tonight's workout as posted in Training Peaks... BIKE 1:30-1:45...WARM UP:10:00 Build up20:00 Small Ring Gearing Pyramid... Start in the small front ring and large back ring and shift down one gear every minute; stay at the bottom for 2 minutes and then begin shifting back up a gear every minute until you get to the top... Will take 20 minutes if you have 10 rings in the back. If you only have 8 rings, stay at the same gear for two minutes a couple of times somewhere in the middle of the back ring so that it still workouts out to 20 minutes.MAIN SET:4 x 12:00 zone 3 efforts w/3:00 recoveriesCOOL DOWN: Build down remainder.STRETCH: Don't forget to stretch for 5-10 minutes following the completion of your workout!
