I I am very excited to announce my upcoming art show, "Stop Chicken Me Out," on Sunday, October 21 from 1pm - 5pm at Real Art Tacoma! This show will feature a poster series of youth-focused designs on sexual violence prevention, LGBTQ youth support, and identity respect that I have been developing as a recipient of the Tacoma Arts Commission's Tacoma Artist Initiative Program.  These are topics that I work with youth regularly on through my work as both an educator and founder of the Peer Education Empowerment League - a volunteer-run youth sexual violence prevention and leadership development program. The chance to connect my passions for these messages and my art has been fantastic, and I hope to see you all at my show!
