_Announcement:_ Detailed course information is available at: http://www.pierce.wsu.edu/Agriculture/ Click on Sustainable Small Farming and Ranching Course for flyer WSU/Pierce County Extension invites individuals and families interested in attaining new farming skills or developing those that already exist through a 12-week interactive course. The course will be held on Monday nights (March 2-May 18th) at the Puyallup Research and Extension Center in Puyallup, WA (see announcement) with some potential off-site visits to local farms. The course includes guest lectures by local farmers and WSU experts. This is a course geared towards newer farmers so all information can be applicable at the field level.
