BUY, SELL AND TRADE TRAWLERS AND TRAWLERING GEAR
View all threadsI am posting this notice for a fellow German cruiser, Adolf Mader, whom I
met in Lutzelbourg, France in 2009 while cruising there that summer. He has
the same build of boat I have, only bigger - a Zijlmans Eagle 13.5 meter
(44 foot). He has emailed me and asked if I could help put out the word he
is selling his boat and retiring from watersports.
"Arosa" is 13.5m x 4.25m x 1.15m, Dutch steel made, and is a flush-deck
modern-style motorkruiser. Adolf is German and keeps his boat at his yacht
club on the Rhine River and cruises throughout Germany, France, Belgium and
the Netherlands. "Arosa" is certainly a luxurious and well equipped
motorkruiser, complete with bow-thruster, generator, washer and dryer,
Kabola hot water radiator heat, 3000 watt inverter, and more. and it
certainly has been maintained to a very high degree. The underwater ship
(hull) has been sandblasted in 2006 and the entire boat repainted. Actually
looks even better than new. He is asking Euro 210,000 and "Arosa" can be
seen at Yacht Club Lahr along the Rhine River.
Aldof can be emailed at: ad.maeder@googlemail.com, and he can send you a PDF
listing and photos of his boat. Aldof only speaks German, but he will
translate your email with Babel Fish.or you can translate your language into
German at the same website: http://babelfish.yahoo.com. Zijlmans is
still making motorkruisers in Drimmenlen, Netherlands and their website can
be found at: http://www.zijlmans.nl.
We love our Zijlmans Eagle (13m) and in 3 years of cruising Europe haven't
found a boat we would like better. The Eagle series of Zijlmans are not
often on the market, so if you have wanted to cruise the rivers and canals
of Europe, this may be the boat for you.
