One way that some of the North Sea trawlers were built with metal deck houses over wooden hulls.

Perhaps an alumium deck house/ pilot house could be fabricated and droped on the deck.

The Nordhavn 62 has the large foreward deck, with tenders foreward--as do some of the expedition trawlers.

Don't let a good hull go to waste!
