I'd be down to help whenever you need it on either day as that is not far from where I live. Gents,
Our sister club will be needing some help with their tournament. This is a great way to help out. Dan Roder and I have helped with the tables for the last several years.
They will also need some bodies to help clean up and move stuff around as well if that is more suited.
Jason Burbach is our club liason to the wheelchair team so please let him or me know if you can help out.

Thanks,
Tom Vyles

Subject: Looking for scorekeepers for Wheelchair Rugby Tourney

Hello All,
I am looking for volunteers to be scorekeepers for the Mile High Mayhem Wheelchair Rugby Tournament being held February 6-8th at Aurora South Middle School (close to 6th and Peoria).  The Denver Harlequins sent me a request yesterday to help coordinate their scorekeepers.

I know some of you have never even seen wheelchair rugby (aka Quad Rugby and “Murderball”) so I will be arranging a training.  Even though this is a volunteer gig I need everyone to take it seriously. Five teams from outside Colorado will be competing againts the Harlequins. These are serious athletes who spend thousands of dollars and hours and hours of training every year to play the sport.  Here is a link to the movie trailer of Murderball so you get a brief idea of what it is all about.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kaT5dDiISw

I know a lot of you already know what is involved and I hope you veterans can help again.

Each game is about a 1.5 hour commitment.  I try to limit one person to working a max of two games in a row. If I don’t get enough people we may have to do more. I need 4 people for each game( 1- scoreboard person, 1 shot clock, 1 score book and 1 penalty keeper.) Any games you can work will be appreciated. Here are the game times:
Friday 2/6:
9:00 -  10:30
10:30 - 12:00
12:00 - 1:30
1:30 -  3:00
3:00 - 4:30
4:30 - 6:00

Saturday 2/7 :
9:00 -  10:30
10:30 - 12:00
12:00 - 1:30
1:30 -  3:00
3:00 - 4:30
4:30 - 6:00

Sunday 2/8:
9:00 - 10:30
10:30 - 12:00
12:00 - 1:30

Please let me know what times you are available.

Thank you for your consideration.
