Amanda:

There are a couple of former Montgomery County (MD) retired police
officers who are very good that you might

consider -

One is a former police captain (been retired for years) who

is John Meikeljohn.  He does a lot of training in and    out of the
country.  The most recent number I have for him is  410-250-4577.  If
that's not good let me know and I      can look for his contact
information.

Another is retired Assistant Police Chief Drew Tracy -

retired last September.  His email is djt298@gmail.com.
Currently he has been assisting the US State Dept in their
Anti-Terrorism program and did work in the Middle      East and Africa.
He recently started a consulting firm. It is called the Critical
Incident Review Group and our  main focus is to take a look at critical
incidents in law enforcement and the work place through a 360 degree
approach, Investigative, Legal, Forensics, Medical, Subject Matter
Expert, training and supervision. Although      critical incidents are
the focus, he is very knowledgeable in all aspects of police practices.

Also we have used a former FBI officer - Sam  Wichner.  He has over 30
years with the FBI.  His email is misterpfi@aol.com.  His phone number
is 410-356-0512.    We used him in a police excessive force case and he
is a down-to-earth guy.  A real cop's cop.  He is a good guy and did
well for us in our case

Hope these help.
