John was such a quiet, unassuming fellow that it was years after
meeting him that I realized he was a member of the Wal-Mart clan.

He was a very unassuming fellow....very nice person. I met him on several
occassions at the Annapolis Fall BoatShow. I was rolling out our FireFly
trimaran at the time, and had hopes of trailing on the successes I anticipated
for a fellow like Walton to be involved with the multihull market. I just ran
into a couple of financial hurtles getting started, the last being too much
for my pocket book.
I believe he continued to own a larger cruising cat after he got out of the
smaller vessels?? Anyone know details??
