Georgs,

I just unsubscribed. I could nor find a way to stay on list with no
mail. I will sign on again when I get back in the states in April. I
can always look at the archives.

I was disappointed no one was interested in talking about sail
assisted power boats or cats.  I sometimes think that crossing
oceans under power alone in small boats for just pleasure and not
for a purpose like getting a boat home, is a little fool hearty.  I
really think the best compromise for long distant ocean passages for
smaller craft in season is a sailing cat that has good powering
speed.  After doing both sail and power, it would be hard not to
select a boat similar to Wild Wind III for the next
circumnavigation.  Wild Wind IV with sailing capabilities would be
nice but the boat would not have to be so big.

I hope I get a chance to catch up to you when we get to the great
lake next July.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Dennis
