TOMMY

You are not using prudence if you think you can make it. First off, your
boat is probably loaded which means you are lower in the water than
specification. How much lower? Who knows. But when you slam into the first
lock sill, you'll find evidence that you are.

Be PRUDENT. Don't even consider anything with a ONE INCH clearance.

C'MON !!  DON'T USE BAD JUDGMENT !

See if anyone else will advise you to proceed with ONE INCH CLEARANCE..if
that is what is REALLY IS.

R.

I draw 6'5".  I spoke to the Chambly canal folks and they said their sills
are 6'6" and that I should have no problem in the locks.

What is AAA for???

Where are you now?

Tommy
How much do you draw? I think the limitation is around 6ft theoretical. If
you are anywhere close to drawing 6ft, you could get stuck !
Do you have AAA converage?

I am hoping that somebody has either gone through the Richelieu River this
spring, or is planning to do this cruise soon, as I'd like to get current
water depth.
Thanks much,
Tommy
