We have exciting Fall offerings for Adults in our Conservatory program, which begin this month. Bill Hulseman of bill hulseman consulting will be leading classes with the topic Religion through Film: A Case Study in Religion & Pop Culture, which discusses the relationships between various religions and film. The second class is Holding Space: The Black Ballet Artist in the Dance Environment, which will be led by Erricka Turner Davis. It is a class that provides a holding of space to discuss the accomplishments and challenges of yesterday’s and today’s Black ballet dancer.
The classes are informative and a fun way to delve inside subjects you may have had questions about, and can now be part of their discussions

Holding Space: The Black Ballet Artist in the Dance Environment (Thursdays with Erricka Turner Davis) will examine the experiences of Black dancers in conventionally white dance spaces, and feature an incredible line-up of guest speakers, from dancers with Dance Theatre of Harlem to foundational Black studio founders in Seattle.
