Sorry to report more Siskins but......... This morning at 9ish, had 80 plus Siskins on thistle and ground here in Harwinton, while my neighbor had as many over there as well. My brother up in West Hartland had a slew of them on his feeders, plus many more up in his birch trees which surround his house. The snow below was just covered with catkin cone and seed detritus. He estimates well over 100 plus Siskins up there. Many Siskins plus juncos were eating the seeds on the snow below as well. When you have these birds in numbers, look within for possible Redpolls.
