Give the gift of poetry this year, when our words, stories, and truths are capable of opening doors for people around us. Join me at two Tacoma Public Library locations for "drop-in" poetry workshops on Thursday, Dec. 5 (South Tacoma branch) or Friday, Dec. 13 (Moore branch) from 4-6pm. No registration or fee required, and all experiences levels are welcome. I'll bring cookies (BECAUSE SNACKS), prompts, writing supplies, sample poems to inspire us, and encouragement. The workshop includes micro-talks on craft to keep our engines running, but participants are welcome to write throughout the session as needed.
