10/16 Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center. 10am-12:30pm. sunny, breezy, high tide, 50-55F. Busy with visitors on this beautiful morning. Children enjoying our kids' area with nature stories and coloring. The marsh was quiet with 7 D.C. cormorants flying over and 8 American Black ducks coming in around noon. On the grounds: 12 House finches (several bathing in the fountain), 11 House sparrows, 5 White throated sparrows, 6 Song sparrows, 3 Blue Jays, 2 Mourning doves,2 Chickadees, 2 Yellow rumped warblers, 1 Northern cardinal and 1 Palm warbler near the water fountain.
