We had a Cetrek AP installed on our first trawler - it was a super-great unit. I recall that the company went out of business around 2005 or so and the only replacement parts I could find were used ones other people were selling. Now may be a good time to replace the Cetrek. In 2018/19 we replaced everything but the hydraulic pump on our current trawler (had an older Robertson) with a Simrad (display, computer, compass, N2K system) for around $3K; did all the "work" ourselves - it's very easy.
