Thanks to Mike, W8RKO, for sending this to me.
Brad helped us out a lot when we were playing with our white box 10 GHz rigs.
Rich's 2nd paragraph below says a lot about what it was like working with Brad. He would drive up to Dayton from Louisville to help us check out our rigs and hand out contacts.
Thanks, Brad.

I've wondered from time to time what became of Brad since he "retired"
from the microwave scene. I think that was back in 2004 or so. He said he wanted to try something new and was giving up microwave radio for RC aircraft. I've missed him since then.
Brad was a great encouragement to me when I decided to get into microwaving myself. He had a relaxed attitude and was always ready to "experiment". My logs have a lot of K4EFD/R in them.
Brad was more than an original member of MAMS. He was sort of a founding father. He helped assemble the initial list of hams whom we asked to join, and he personally made many of those invitations. He contacted Dex to arrange having the list server we all enjoy today (thanks again, Dex). He arranged our first get-together at Big Bone Lick State Park (remember that little picnic?).
I met Juanita, but not the rest of Brad's family. My best wishes to them in this trying time.

number of years ago. He was the first person I ever worked on 10 GHz.

From Tim Totten N4GN regarding Brad Totten K4EFD:
Update on Dad:
As many of you know, Dad's been battling a pretty rare
disease--progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). It looks now like we're
entering the final phase of this fight.
As I type, Dad is in the hospital. But we expect to be moving back to
his room at Glen Ridge tomorrow (Saturday). In accordance with his
wishes--which we thankfully discussed at length in better days--we
transitioned today to hospice care. So the focus now is on comfort,
and we have discontinued any efforts at prolonging life.
We are very thankful that there is not much pain directly associated
with the PSP, so Dad is already resting comfortably. But he has
experienced a pretty significant and rapid decline in the last couple
of days.
On Christmas, Dad had a very good day with family, and he enjoyed a
big dinner and quite a few other Christmas goodies. Now, just a few
days later, he is no longer able to take any food, and only very small
sips of water with considerable difficulty. Verbal communication has
been limited to just a few words, but he has flashed that sweet smile
on several occasions.
At this point, we expect that we are looking at a matter of a few days
to perhaps a little over two weeks. Our entire family certainly
appreciates your prayers and kind words of encouragement during these
difficult days.
