To All - Congratulations to Matt Schlanger for winning yesterday on corrected time! It was a really good race for both of us. Results are attached. Where was everybody else on this beautiful day? The wind was wonderful, starting out at 5 - 6 from the north and building to a solid 12 - 15 by the last beat of the race. Thanks to Ben and Vince Yannelli, two of our superb Junior Sailors, for being exceptional crew on Æolus. Now, a hand-slap to Zoran Dicic in his J-24. The Race Committee let Zoran start the race 15 minutes late, but Zoran never crossed the finish line nor let the Race Committee know he had withdrawn. On Sundays you must start within 10 minutes of the Cruising Fleet start (Sailing Instructions - 11.2), and if you withdraw without notifying the Race Committee you may be subject to a DSQ at the discretion of the Race Committee.
