VIRTUAL GATOR FITNESS CHALLENGE UPDATE (through day 4 of week 2):
It's a little known fact that today is "National Join the Virtual Gator
Fitness Challenge Day"! We now exceed 100 total participants, but there is
plenty of room for more to join, so if you are part of the 60+ Gators NOT
yet participating, today's the day! All that you have to do is...
Complete some sort of a workout of 20 minutes or more... Can be
swim/bike/run/strength/core/flexibility as well as just about anything
else... Dog walk, MMA training, archery, tennis, karate training... We've
had entries for all of these!
Find the "Week 2 VGFC Log" post at the top of "Announcements" and enter
a comment with the date, time, and type of workout.
And don't forget to include other family members that might have worked
out with you... including non-Gators!
Also, just a reminder that our fabulous Head Coaching Team is continuing to
post workouts in Training Peaks! And this week's posts (from Dre Barber)

• 30 minute warmup (build every 5 minutes. Last 5 minutes = low tempo)
• Repeat 3 times:
◦ 6 minutes Zone 3 / 85-90 RPMS (70% FTP)
◦ 2 minutes Zone 4 / 90-95 RPMS (90% FTP)
◦ 2 minutes Easy
• 20 minutes Cool Down - enjoy time in the saddle... Hydrate
Regarding our VGFC performance this week...
We have over 200 workouts logged in the first 4 days this week and we're
approaching 200 total hours! With a really strong weekend (and maybe some
new additions due to "National Join the VGFC Day", we may still reach our
400 hour goal for the week!

learned that yesterday's new participant, Jessica Celestin's son, name is
Adrian! Our total for this group is now 38!
