Hey folks,

Hope your week is off to a good start.  I'm interested in our next discussion covering non-mental health calls.  I know several of your municipalities are providing community safety services regarding trespass, neighbor disputes, noise complaints, truancy, intoxicated individuals, among others.

What training do staff receive for these calls? Do your community safety staff receive some sort of basic law enforcement training?  What limits do community safety staff have to address trespass and noise complaints?  How are staff able to determine residency or authority to trespass? Regarding truancy, can staff transport students to school?

Anyone what to tackle these questions (and others) we me at our next meeting?

Thanks!
