On Tuesday evening The Sightline Institute will make a presentation at the
University of Washington Tacoma campus concerning recent growth of local
fossil fuel industries. Eric de Place, the Institute policy director, will
review the growth of oil transit, storage, and processing on the tideflats,
as well as a new natural gas pipeline to feed a plant that will make
plastics precursors for shipment to China.
