Dorothy Perkins, of AID NW will present their program of the 'Welcome Center'.
Advocates for Immigrants in Detention Northwest (AIDNW) serves immigrants
and refugees from countries all over the world, detained in and released
from detention in Tacoma. The Welcome Center, an aging RV, located outside
the gates of the NWDC, provides welcome and immediate assistance to
released detainees. We want you to hear their voices.
Nixon Tenga, who has spent time INSIDE the detention center, will also speak.

AID Northwest, a private non-profit will present their organization's work. Tonight will be an opportunity to donate cash or a check to their program.
