Hi,
Further to Brian Morin's post, I would estimate that 10,000 to 15,000
Snow Geese (inc a smattering of blues) flew overhead eastwards along
Cedar Grove Road, northeast of Williamstown between 11 a.m. and noon.
This is one concession north of where Brian reported thousands of birds.
This was the most spectacular flight of Snow Geese I have ever seen in
this county . . . I was out for my daily walk at the time when a clamour
became audible and then all these birds . . like moving diurnal
constellations as the sun shone upon them . . they kept heading
eastwards . ..
Cedar Grove runs west off 34 6 kms north of 401 Exit 814 in Lancaster.
