You can take them to McLendon's, but call first since I think there's a deadline for collection.

Metro Parks is continuing to accept lights through January 15th. The light program helps support conservation efforts at the zoo.

Metro Parks Tacoma drop off sites:

· Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, 5400 N. Pearl St., Tacoma, main entrance
· Northwest Trek Wildlife Park (during open hours), 11610 Trek Drive E., Eatonville
· Metro Parks Tacoma headquarters, 4702 S. 19th St., Tacoma
· Tacoma Nature Center, 1919 S. Tyler St., Tacoma
· STAR Center, 3873 S. 66th St., Tacoma
· Center at Norpoint, 4818 Nassau Ave. N.E., Tacoma

Used "tree lights" can be brought to the drop off the City of Tacoma Recycle Center at 3510 South Mullen. They are collecting them in the "anything with a plug" recycling box.
