There is a company in New Zealand, "Whispergen" by name that manufactures a stirling cycle gen set.

I did recall another usage of the Stirling engine, but couldn't recall the exact one.

I do not remember that much of my old engr about the Stirling engine, but I would venture to guess this 'refrig unit' might be a bit simplier and more efficient as the 'engine' in this case is being utilized as a heat 'pump' driven by an electric motor.

In the case of the 'Whispergen' isn't the Stirling engine being used as a fuel engine to drive the generator?
