Proposed State Implementation Plan (SIP) Revision for Tacoma-Pierce County nonattainment area *PUBLIC HEARING AND COMMENT PERIOD* In December 2012, the Department of Ecology (Ecology) will submit proposed SIP revisions to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the Tacoma-Pierce County Nonattainment Area. The area includes most of the greater Tacoma and surrounding communities within Pierce County.
