COVID Relief: In a 218-212 vote yesterday, mostly along party lines, the House approved its budget resolution which starts the budget reconciliation process that will allow the Senate to pass President Biden's $1.9 trillion COVID relief measure with a simple majority. The administration is open to amending the proposal, mostly as it relates to the pool of Americans eligible to receive a $1,400 stimulus check and smaller amount of state and local aid.
