With all the economic challenges facing the country, the need for pro bono legal services is on the rise.  How many of your municipalities allow attorneys to perform pro bono work?  Of those that allow it, does your municipality have a policy or any guidelines?  How many of you provided pro bono services last year?

Our office (City of North Las Vegas) allows employees to do pro bono work through Clark County Legal Services.  We currently don't have a written policy but I am working on one now.  I would like to review policies from other municipalities.  If your municipality has a policy or guidelines, please email those to me.
