If you are interested in walking and bicycling in Tacoma, then you may have heard of Tacoma Mobilityhttps://www.cityoftacoma.org/government/city_departments/environmentalservices/office_of_environmental_policy_and_sustainability/green_living_resources_and_map/transportation, the City of Tacoma's online resources for active transportation. Over 2,000 people participated in the Bike Swap and other Tacoma-Pierce County Bike Month events in May, and hundreds of you were connecting with Tacoma Mobility on Facebook. Unfortunately, the Tacoma Mobility Facebook page was recently shut down due to a technical glitch. As a result, all of our photos, events, and social connections were lost for good!

We need your help to rebuild this important social network! If you have a Facebook page or operate one for an organization, please "like" the new Tacoma Mobilityhttps://www.facebook.com/mobility253?_rdr page and "share" it with your networks-or simply forward this e-mail to people you know who care about walking, biking, and sustainability in Tacoma. (We know you're out there!)

More connections: You can also find us on Twitter (@bikemonth253) and Instagram (@tacomamobility). Local bike events are posted to the online calendar at www.BIKE253.comhttp://www.BIKE253.com. Tacoma Mobility is part of the City's Office of Environmental Policy and Sustainabilityhttp://www.cityoftacoma.org/cms/One.aspx?portalId=169&pageId=18996 (Tacoma Sustainabilityhttps://www.facebook.com/TacomaSustainability on Facebook). The Bicycle and Pedestrian Technical Advisory Group (BPTAGhttp://www.cityoftacoma.org/government/committees_boards_commissions/transportation_commission/bicycle_pedestrian_technical_advisory_group/) and Sustainable Tacoma Commission (STChttp://www.cityoftacoma.org/cms/One.aspx?portalId=169&pageId=9650) both hold monthly public meetings and post meeting notes online.

Thanks for supporting human-powered transportation in Tacoma!
