Hello CITASA folks,

Hello, I'm a new Sociology PhD and I have a paper in progress on a comparison of human-human mediated interaction to human-computer mediated interaction in the context of an organization, and the emotion, impressions, and patronage toward that organization and its (human or computer) representative.

Much of the literature on HCI seems to not directly compare it to human-human interaction (HHI), especially in a controlled experiment as I have done. As this literature crosses many disciplines I would be grateful to know about papers and literature I may have overlooked (I mainly have been using Nass and Reeve's Computers Are Social Actors literature, but they don't often compare HCI and HHI). Also, I am narrowing down a list of journals that my paper might might be appropriate for, so recommendations for journals would also be appreciated.

Thanks for your time!

Best,
Daniel
