Our next paint out will be this Friday at Pt Defiance. We'll meet near the Pt Defiance Boathouse. Parking is available near Anthony's restaurant if the boathouse lot is full. There are great views of kayakers, boaters, people fishing, the ferry to Vashon, of course the water, sometimes sailboats, etc...There is a nice evening view of Mt Rainier from Owen's beach (photo above) with views of the ferry to Vashon. Feel free to paint anywhere in the park - the Rose Garden, trails, duck pond, etc... Dune Peninsula is another option in conjunction with Paint the Point. Bathrooms with water are available at the Boathouse, Dune Peninsula and near the duck pond. There are bathrooms at Owen's Beach however they have been closed recently with only Porta Potties available so I'm not sure about water. Please let us know if you have any questions.
