I heard, and Merlin identified, a Pied Billed Grebe late this morning at the north end of the pond. I could not get near enough to the pond to find it due to the vegetation and high water. Has anyone else seen it? Also saw 3 Blue Headed Vireos and a male Black-Throated Blue Warbler along the power line, 4 Hooded Mergansers on the pond. Deb Cushman, Simsbury
