clyde fernortner garbage7@wavecable.co Always wondered, when yamaha is one of the best running, longest lasting outboards, why people by a honda? up north near bella bella/shearwater, where we do our summer fishing, the shearwater marine hardware store sells both! i asked, if you sell 10 motors, how many are honda! i was told 2, maybe 3! was also told by a commercial guy, the honda top end [how he said it] will maybe last 1000 hrs, and their done! we have a novarania 10.5 dink, with a fiberglass bottom, [I think it`s better on the beach], and a 2 cycle 9.9 yamaha, have had both for at least 20+ yrs! Isuzu is another excellent outboard…clyde
