Artist Suze Woolf joins us on the Green River College main campus on Monday, January 28th to discuss how artists respond to environmental issues, specifically forest health. Please join us for an engaging discussion and presentation in Salish Hall room 110 at noon.  All are welcome!  If you are unable to make the talk but curious about the presentation, Suze has a short documentary about her work on bark beetles to share:  https://vimeo.com/285309861

This partnership presentation between Forestry and Fine Arts at Green River engages art and science in a discussion about global warming.  The program is in conjunction with the Helen S. Smith Gallery current exhibition Slash & Burn on now through February 5th.  Suze Woolf is one of 9 artists included in the exhibition:    https://www.greenriver.edu/community/art-gallery/

Closing reception and panel discussion for the show has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 5th at noon.  We hope you can join us for these upcoming gallery events!
