Looking for input on our planned trip down the Arkansas and the Mississippi, final destination Gulf Breeze Florida. Trip has been in the planning phase for some time and I have reviewed a number of reports by others regarding the limited facilities, fuel etc. Currently planning on fueling up (diesel) in Greenville and Baton Rouge but would also like to stop in Vicksburg and see the Military Cemetery however, it looks like from the Active Captain reports, the floating dock is on shore. So any suggestions regarding Vicksburg, fueling options in Baton Rouge and general guidance/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
