OK , lets see if I can attach the article to this forum list, pictures and all, and let someone else translate it and post it in english.
I may have to post this in several postings as it is a scan of a Neptune magazine article graciously sent to me by a European friend

Brian, thanks for the prompt response with posting the french article. I'm still working on the translation angle, but the photos on pages 72, 73,and most of all 76 tell the story that I was hoping to clear up.

Hi everyone
Just a quickie to say how much I enjoy the correspondence and discussions on
the list and as a newcomer to power cats I find it all very enlightening.
I am looking for a fully equipped liveaboard / cruising boat for my wife and
I and (so far) have arrived at the following:
Lagoon Power 43/44 fairly high on the list - seems to have very expensive
options which are standard on similar craft
Cumberland 44 & Transcat 48 - very nice but probably too big and therefore
expensive
Maryland 37 - maybe too small and I don't need all those berths
PDQ 34 - Lovely boat but too small
PDQ 41 - Very nice but pricey
Endeavour - Roomy but (sorry) ugly
Any suggestions or comments on this matter are very welcome.
Finally, I am trying to do some cost projections here and thought that I
would ask you to let me know how much you are paying for diesel fuel per US
gallon at a fuel dock / marina / marine outlet.
As the Power Cat List has members from all over the US (and further) this
might be of interest to many others.
Thank you to anyone who responds.

To get an idea of prices, you might Google our sister lists using
this search phrase:
diesel fuel prices 2005 site:lists.samurai.com
Try the example and see what wealth of information is available in
the archives.
Sometimes you will find that Google is out of synch with the archives
and you will get the wrong post. In that case, click on the "Cached"
link and you will get Google's own copy of the post.
