To All -

Sorry for the delay in race results. Thanks to Eric Baumes for scoring the
Labor Day Regatta while we were away. Only three boats raced, and Charlie
Brieant in Zoom walked away with the 1st place trophy, beating out Nerosh
and Hee Soo. Nice going, Charlie! Sure wish we had been there.

Last night was the Second Annual Pursuit Race, won once again by Dave
Otterbein in Breakaway. In case you're not familiar with the racing format,
Howie Rinehart put out a 2-mile windward/leeward course and all boats
started at a given GPS time depending on their PHRF rating. The slowest
boats (highest PHRF ratings) started first and all of the other boats tried
to catch up and pass them. Theoretically, if all boats are perfectly sailed
to their handicap, then all boats will finish at the same time. Luckily, for
the Race Committee, that didn't happen last night. Helping Howie out were
Diane Deveau, Kevin Fletcher, and Bill Mann. Thanks, guys.

Lastly, attached are the final Wednesday Night racing results.
Congratulations to all who raced. Fleet Awards for Wednesday Night and
Sunday Racing will be given out at the Cruising Fleet Potluck Dinner on
Saturday, November 14th. Mark your calendars now.

The 2015 Club Cruising Fleet awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the
Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker Divisions will be awarded at the Annual Awards
Dinner December 6th. With five Sunday races left, anything can happen in
both Divisions. See you on the water.
