Hello NCL colleagues,

The Education Commission for the States has a new infographic out that
https://www.ecs.org/wp-content/uploads/Two-Generation_Strategies_to_Improve_Educational_Attainment.pdf
focuses on two-generation strategies
https://www.ecs.org/wp-content/uploads/Two-Generation_Strategies_to_Improve_Educational_Attainment.pdf.
Recommend reading this on a computer; it's oddly sized and may not show up
well on a phone or tablet.

It's unfortunate that they've mischaracterized family literacy as "child-focused with parent element." Family literacy programs are the original "two-gen" approach, although this hasn't been adequately recognized by most proponents of the two-gen approach. In addition, most two-gen programs tend to focus on adults who already have a secondary degree.

Best,

Esther
