Highlights: It was a generally quiet week with little in the way of highlights. Please note that for the next week or so the Amherst and Wolfe Island ferries are running at half-capacity due to mandatory 5-year dry-dock maintenance of the Wolfe Islander III. Be prepared for delays. Here are the highlights of the last week: TUNDRA SWAN - birds seem to be now more widespread but numbers are low with a high of just 8 noted in Kingston on 27th and 29th. RUDDY DUCK - as many as 10 birds have been seen over the week at Marshlands CA/Cataraqui Bay, Kingston. RED-NECKED GREBE - Kingston's Cataraqui Bay bird continues as of 1st Nov. RED-THROATED LOON - 1-2 birds were seen at Prince Edward Point 26th-28th. CAROLINA WREN - a single bird was seen at Delta on 30th. SNOW BUNTING - 40 birds were noted north of Gananoque today (1st Nov).
