I spent some time last year looking at dinghies for our 34-foot powercat. While perhaps a bit small for your application, you might find the posted table useful: www.geocities.com/snodoglog/Dinghies.html For our purposes the Livingston didn't compare well, it was small for it's weight and had rather low freeboard and carrying capacity.
