Tacoma museums invite you to the IN THE SPIRIT Arts Market & Northwest Native Festival on August 6, including free museum admission

Each summer, the Washington State History Museum (WSHM) partners with the Tacoma Art Museumhttps://www.tacomaartmuseum.org/ (TAM) and the Museum of Glasshttps://www.museumofglass.org/ (MOG) to host a free community festivalhttps://www.washingtonhistory.org/event/in-the-spirit-festival-2022/ celebrating the Native American cultures of this region. The 2022 festival will take place on Saturday, August 6, from 10 AM-5 PM!

·        cultural music and dance in the History Museum’s amphitheater

·        Native designer runway fashion show at TAM

·        Artist in the MOG Hot Shop, and weavers demonstrating all day

·        food and beverages available for purchase, including the Price Family dishing up their famously delicious fry bread tacos!
Festival visitors can shop for hand-crafted art, jewelry, leather work, glass, wood carvings, paintings, prints, and more among artist vendor booths on the plaza at the History Museum.
