It's that time again!  Time to mark your calendar for Oct. 2, 3, and 4th,
2020 and make plans to display and sell your literary products at our
seventh annual Lakewood Film Arts and Book Fest.
This event is free to the public. Each year we expand our efforts to include
more authors, artists and photographers, as well as a larger variety of
films and more activities to bring in visitors.  This year our plans include
the Nisqually tribe heritage dancers, Lakewood Playhouse performers (live
skit), a puppet show, Philippine traditional dancers, musicians, art
demonstrations, military art display, and a special talkback/film
presentation on the movie character Charlie Chan.
It is our desire to expand our outreach to as many members of our artistic
community as possible with this venue.  Our website is up and running, as is
our quarterly newsletter.  As you can see, we are making major changes to
increase foot traffic so the public can see and buy your books.  We need
copies of your book covers early so we can advertise your works on our
website, Facebook page and advertisements.  If you would like to provide a
brief abstract of your book, we would appreciate that as well.  If desired,
we can set up a section so that you can talk about your craft or do
readings. Check out the website at www.lakewoodfestival.org.,Facebook
